The definition of “personal information”

All information that would allow a specific individual to be identified, including their name, address, telephone number and email address, will be designated as “personal information”.

Collection, use and provision of personal information

In regards to the collection of personal information, the purpose for which it is being collected will be made clear, and suitable and fair methods for its collection will be employed within only the range required by those purposes. The collected personal information will be used only for the execution of the duties of the Film Commission, such as supporting the attraction of media to locations in the city.

Management of personal information

1. All collected personal information will be strictly, suitably managed, with all due precautions taken to prevent it from leaking externally or being modified or altered.
2. All provided personal information will never be disclosed to a third party outside of the constituent organizations of the Sakai Film Commission Executive Committee, without the consent of the user. However, personal information may be disclosed or provided without the consent of the user, if a public institution presents a lawful disclosure order to do so, such as from the police or a court.
