A road that was planned and implemented as a symbol of Sakai, running for 1.5km from the City Office to Sakai Station and with all electric cables running through multi-purpose underground utility conduits. With wide sidewalks and fountain monuments it is loved as a promenade by locals, and also serves as the bustling venue for the large "Sakai Festival" parade in October.
