This comprehensive park of approximately 170,000 square meters was opened in 1982 by acquiring a part of the premises of Tajihayahime-Jinja Shrine. It is renowned for its plum tree forest of roughly 27,000 square meters. Currently, there are approximately 1,200 plum trees of 50 varieties. The best season is from mid-February to early March. You can enjoy different types of flowers throughout the year, for example, wintersweet in early January, Japanese cornel in mid-March, about 700 cherry trees in early April, and the lotus flowers on Bozuike Pond in mid-August.
