The Sakai Botanical Center is located on the south side of Daisen Park, a symbolic city park rich in greenery and history, spanning 38.5 hectares within the Mozu Tombs, which include the tombs of Emperor Nintoku and Emperor Richu. With the hope of encouraging more people to learn about grasses, flowers, and trees, the center hosts a variety of seasonal events that incorporate plants into daily life. These experiences allow visitors to enjoy nature throughout the year, as we aim to create a hands-on botanical garden where everyone can have fun.
